Un bellissimo concerto di Alice Coltrane, moglie del grande John, registrato alla UCLA Royce Hall di Los Angeles, il 18 febbraio 2006, un anno prima della sua morte, avvenuta il 12 gennaio 2007. Se non conoscete niente di quest'artista e desiderate farvi un'idea... consiglio vivamente il suo bellissimo disco "Ptah, the El Daoud", reperibile in cd senza nessun problema.

Alice cominciò la sua carriera musicale sostituendo nel 1965 McCoy Tyner al piano nella band di John Coltrane. Nel 1966 sposò John, con il quale continuò a suonare nella sua band fino alla sua morte.
