Cover compilation

Sembra che in questo periodo vadano estremamente di moda le compilation di cover, giochino che personalmente ho sempre amato. Ce ne sono almeno tre, pubblicate da poco, molto interessanti:

- Immancabile quella dedicata agli innamorati di San Valentino! Fra le tante etichette ci ha pensato pure la HearMusic (label discografica di Starbucks) con la romantica "Sweetheart";

- "Dark Was the Night" è una raccolta estremamente indie promossa dalla Red Hot Organization contro l'Aids;

- "Heroes", il cui ricavato andrà all'associazione in difesa dei bambini vittime di guerra War Child, della quale sono state pubblicate tutte le tracce in streaming su MySpace. Scaletta intrigantissima, non c'è che dire:

11. Peaches - "Search And Destroy" (The Stooges)

12. The Hold Steady - "Atlantic City" (Bruce Springsteen)

13. The Like - "You Belong To Me" (Elvis Costello)

14. Yeah Yeah Yeahs - "Sheena Is A Punk Rocker" (The Ramones)

15. Franz Ferdinand - "Call Me" (Blondie)

Potete ascoltarla per intero qui e, magari, vista la buona causa... successivamente acquistarla!
