Un show radiofonico del virtuoso violinista Ponty (di ottima qualità audio, cosa che non guasta...) datato 17 Settembre 1976. Personaggio interessantissimo, molto stimato da Frank Zappa, dalla solida base classica ma caratterizzato da influenze fra le più disparate (Davis e Coltrane su tutte), membro anche per un certo periodo della Mahavishnu Orchestra di John McLaughlin.

La metà degli anni '70 fu per lui un periodo estremamente importante e prolifico, di grande spessore artistico testimoniato anche da questo live al quale partecipa Darryl Stuermer, ai più noto per la sua militanza live coi Genesis e con Collins solista.
