I Fairport Convention sono stati, insieme ai Pentangle, il frutto più prezioso partorito dal frondoso albero del folk-rock inglese. Vi propongo una recentissima esecuzione live del loro album "Liege & Lief" (il quarto della loro carriera) dal vivo al Cropredy Festival, Oxfordshire, UK, il 10 Agosto 2007; un disco che non avrebbe bisogno di presentazioni, considerato da molti il disco di British folk-rock per antonomasia, votato nel 2002 "most important folk album of all time" dagli ascoltatori di BBC Radio 2 e "Most Influential Folk Album Of All Time" durante i BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards nel 2006.
